Profile of an Intimidated Husband

An intimidated man calls his wife, "Ma;" "Mummy;" "my Mother;" etc.
He says it's because he respects his wife...
Do I now call my son, "Sir," "Daddy," etc., because I happen to respect my Son?
The way to show that you respect somebody is NOT by turning the person into a SUPERIOR!
The Bible clearly STATES:
"(A man) is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the GLORY of the Man." Some hold on to that and elevate the position of the Woman [Wife] to that of a Superior; and you see such a Man, saying, "Ah! I've got to respect my wife o! The Bible says she's MY GLORY! Anything she tells me, I do! I don't take any decision unless I consult her;... I don't do anything unless she sanctions it,"... bla, bla, bla... And some pastors actually teach such trash from their pulpits! Now, my question is: When you read such a scripture, how come you fail to see the preceding part of it, which says that the Man is the image and GLORY of God? So, according to your postulation, should God now begin to say, "Ah! I've got to respect Man o! The Bible says he's my GLORY! Anything he tells me, I do! I don't take any decision unless I consult him;... I don't do anything unless he [Man] sanctions it,"... etc?
